My dad was looking at buying one of those pre-made sheds like you find at the big hardware chains. So I made this model one night just to play around with. It's not fancy- but neither is the object it represents. It's just a good example of how I can take a real world structure and create an interactive 3D model of it.
A practical use for this item is I could take it and drop it into another model. For example to display it with an existing structure or in a landscape plan.
Also, since I created this item in CAD first and "built" framing for it, I can do a materials take off and compare the price of the materials vs. the cost of the pre-made unit.
